ABOUT THE NMVA

The Niagara Military Vehicle Association (NMVA) is an incorporated, self funded group of individuals who own, restore and exhibit vintage military vehicles dating from WW1 to the present.

The motto of the association is “Honor, Remembrance and Education”. The NMVA strives to Honor and promote Remembrance of our Veterans and to educate our young people about Canada’s military history through the restoration of vintage military vehicles and presentation of those vehicles at charitable, community and Veteran specific events.

Members of the NMVA attend events throughout Niagara Region in period military and civilian dress along with the vehicles of the NMVA. Events such as the Rankin Cancer Run fundraiser, Airportfest, Canada Day, and Remembrance Day Observances throughout the Niagara Region are some of the events attended by the NMVA on an annual basis.

Membership of the NMVA consists of veterans, WW2 reenactors, volunteers, and young women who dress in WW2 era attire. Our attendance at events throughout the Region has been published in newspapers such as SNAP and The St. Catharines Standard.
